Cornea

The cornea is the transparent outermost surface of the eye. It can be damaged from infections, injuries, contact lens abuse, keratoconus and other eye diseases. If the damage to the cornea is significant, it can become cloudy which can decrease vision. To restore good vision, it may be necessary to perform a corneal transplantation, where the diseased cornea is surgically removed and is replaced with healthy cornea.

We offer the latest in corneal surgery, combined with years of experience, to offer you our expertise in regaining your vision and independence. For more information, please contact our office.
